So Aldo from Maldino Customs cant seem to keep his hands off a caddy for very long. He seems to always have one tucked away some place, and now he is working on another one. This past weekend was the long awaited Carbster Edition show and it went down really well. The turnout was super good with air cooled and water cooled cars coming through from all over Gauteng. So a while back we put this wheel chart together as a bit of a piss take on all the folks out there running massive rims on their MK1’s. It was a light hearted joke and was put together as a response to a thread on the local VW club forum. Since then it has popped up on forums all over the world including E38 and the Tex. I just saw it pop up in the MK1 section on the Tex again today and I realise we had never even posted it on the site… Rather late then never!

Well Dubrun has come and gone and it was an awesome trip! 23 cars in total took part in the run down to Durban and the run went down without a hitch. Everyone me at the crack of dawn at the petroport outside JHB and the run got going at 6:00 AM before the sun had even risen. READ MORE
